A small figure standing with its hands behind its back, wearing a lampshade where its head should be. The whole thing is finished in polished gold, so it reflects whatever is around it during the day and glows from under the shade at night. It is a piece of character rather than a serious light source, and that is the point of it.
It runs on a rechargeable battery and charges over USB, so there is no cord in use and nowhere it cannot go. Most people end up moving it around: a desk corner, a bar cart, a shelf, a bedside table when someone is staying.
Size: about 19 cm tall and 9 cm wide, weighing around 0.7 kg. It is small, roughly the height of a wine bottle's upper half, and it fits in one hand. The weight sits low so it stands firmly on its two small feet.
Light: warm white, coming down from under the shade rim in a small pool. It is a night light and a mood light rather than something to read a book by.
Power: rechargeable over the USB cable included, taking about three hours from flat. In the box you get the lamp and the cable.
Care: wipe the polished surface with a soft dry or barely damp cloth, then dry it. A mirror finish shows fingerprints, which come off easily with a microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cloths and any cleaner containing solvent, and keep it away from standing water.

So we set out to find lamps, linen, candles and decor that look good, feel good to live with and cost what they should. Every order ships tracked and free anywhere in New Zealand.
We are picky about what makes it onto the site. If a piece does not meet our standard for materials, finish and comfort, it does not get listed. Every product page gives you the real dimensions, the materials and a plain description of what is in the box, so you can picture it in your space before you buy.

Not really, and it is not meant for that. The light is warm and comes down from under the shade in a small pool, which suits a night light, a desk corner or a bar counter. If you want something to read by, one of our larger lamps will serve you better.
Over the USB cable included in the box, taking about three hours from flat. Once charged it runs with no cord at all, which is what lets you put it anywhere rather than near a socket.

A tracking number is emailed to you within 24 hours of dispatch. You can follow it on our Order Tracking page. Tracking often shows no movement for a week or so while the parcel is in international transit. That is normal and it will update once it lands in New Zealand.
You have 30 days from delivery to return an item for change of mind, with no restocking fee, as long as it is unused and still has its packaging and tags. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
Send us photos by email within 30 days of delivery and we will replace the item or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. In most cases you will not need to post anything back.
Yes, within 24 hours of placing it. Email our customer service team with your order number and we will sort it. After 24 hours the order has usually gone through to our supplier, but you can still return it under our Refund Policy once it arrives.
