Pebble Glass Table Lamp, Cream and Chrome

A wide cream glass pebble balanced on a slim chrome column and a flat chrome disc. The glass is a flattened oval rather than a globe, so it reads as one smooth uninterrupted curve from any angle, and the cream is in the glass itself rather than painted on the outside.
The shape is straight out of the early 1970s, when lighting went round and the fittings went chrome. What makes it work in a room now is the restraint of it: two materials, no detail, no pattern. Against warm timber and neutral walls the chrome stays quiet and the cream glass does the talking.
Switched on, the whole pebble lifts to a soft even glow, and the light that escapes underneath catches the chrome and lands back on the surface it is standing on. Switched off, the glass keeps its warm cream colour and the chrome picks up the rest of the room.
Size: 18 cm across the glass and 28 cm tall. That is a small lamp, roughly the height of a wine bottle, though the shade is wide for the height, so allow about 20 cm of clear width rather than going by the height alone.
Power and bulb: mains powered with a cord about 1.8 m long. It takes a G9 bulb, which is the small two pin fitting rather than a screw fitting, and a warm white 3000K bulb comes with it. The lamp is not dimmable in itself, though it will work with a smart bulb if you want to control the level that way.
Materials: a cream glass shade on a polished chrome stem and base.
Care: wipe the glass with a soft cloth, damp if you need it, then dry it. Polished chrome shows fingerprints and marks easily, so use a dry microfibre cloth on the stem and base, and keep abrasive cloths and any cleaner containing solvent away from both.

Yes, polished chrome always does. A dry microfibre cloth takes them off in a few seconds and that is all it needs. Keep abrasive cloths and any cleaner with solvent in it away from the chrome and the glass, since both will dull the finish.

A tracking number is emailed to you within 24 hours of dispatch. You can follow it on our Order Tracking page. Tracking often shows no movement for a week or so while the parcel is in international transit. That is normal and it will update once it lands in New Zealand.
You have 30 days from delivery to return an item for change of mind, with no restocking fee, as long as it is unused and still has its packaging and tags. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
Send us photos by email within 30 days of delivery and we will replace the item or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. In most cases you will not need to post anything back.
Yes, within 24 hours of placing it. Email our customer service team with your order number and we will sort it. After 24 hours the order has usually gone through to our supplier, but you can still return it under our Refund Policy once it arrives.
