A small metal lamp with a shallow domed shade that overhangs a slender conical base. The shade throws the light straight down, so instead of a diffuse haze you get a defined ring of light on the table underneath. It reads as a solid little object when it is off, which is half the reason to have it out on a sideboard.
Touch the shade to turn it on and touch again to move through three brightness levels and three light tones, from a warm evening light through to a cooler white for working. It charges over USB-C and runs without a cord, so it can sit in the middle of a dining table or out on a windowsill with nothing trailing to a socket.
Size: about 15.5 cm across the shade and 20.5 cm tall, roughly the height of a wine bottle. It weighs 0.4 kg, enough to stay put but light enough to carry in one hand.
Runtime: about 10 to 12 hours on a full charge depending on the brightness you use, and 3.5 to 4 hours to charge from flat. In the box you get the lamp, a USB-C charging cable and an instruction sheet.
Care: wipe with a soft dry cloth. Polished metal shows fingerprints, which come off easily with a microfibre cloth. Keep it dry and do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners on the finish.

Oat Loft started with a simple frustration. Nice things for the home were either very expensive or fell apart within a year, and there was not much in between. So we set out to find lamps, linen, candles and decor that look good, feel good to live with and cost what they should. Every order ships tracked and free anywhere in New Zealand.
We are picky about what makes it onto the site. If a piece does not meet our standard for materials, finish and comfort, it does not get listed. Every product page gives you the real dimensions, the materials and a plain description of what is in the box, so you can picture it in your space before you buy.
About 10 to 12 hours on a full charge, depending on how bright you run it. Lower brightness lasts noticeably longer. A full charge from flat takes around 3.5 to 4 hours over the USB-C cable that comes with it.

It is designed as an indoor lamp, so we would keep it under cover. It is fine on a covered deck or a porch on a dry evening since there is no cord to run outside, but bring it in afterwards and keep it out of rain and away from standing water.

A tracking number is emailed to you within 24 hours of dispatch. You can follow it on our Order Tracking page. Tracking often shows no movement for a week or so while the parcel is in international transit. That is normal and it will update once it lands in New Zealand.
You have 30 days from delivery to return an item for change of mind, with no restocking fee, as long as it is unused and still has its packaging and tags. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
Send us photos by email within 30 days of delivery and we will replace the item or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. In most cases you will not need to post anything back.
Yes, within 24 hours of placing it. Email our customer service team with your order number and we will sort it. After 24 hours the order has usually gone through to our supplier, but you can still return it under our Refund Policy once it arrives.
