Three glossy amber glass shades stacked one under another on a fluted brass stem. Each shade catches the light from the one above and passes it on, so what reaches the room has been softened three times over. The shades point upward, which means most of the light goes to the ceiling and comes back down as a warm wash rather than landing on you directly.
Amber glass does something clear glass cannot. It warms the light on the way through, so even a plain bulb reads as candle coloured, and the shades themselves hold their colour whether the lamp is on or off. Against a neutral wall it is the piece in the room that people look at.
Size: 28 cm across the widest shade and 45 cm tall. That is a full sized table lamp rather than a small accent one, so it wants a console, a sideboard or a generous bedside table. On a narrow nightstand it will dominate.
Power and controls: mains powered, with a rotary knob switch on the stem. It takes a standard E27 bulb and a warm white 3000K LED bulb is included. It is not dimmable, so if you want to vary the level, a dimmable bulb on a plug in dimmer is the way to do it.
Materials: glass shades on an iron and brass finished frame and base.
Care: dust the glass with a soft dry cloth, or wipe with a barely damp one and dry straight after. Wipe the brass dry only, since moisture left sitting will mark the finish. Switch it off and let the bulb cool before you clean around it.

We are picky about what makes it onto the site. If a piece does not meet our standard for materials, finish and comfort, it does not get listed. Every product page gives you the real dimensions, the materials and a plain description of what is in the box, so you can picture it in your space before you buy.

A warm white 3000K LED bulb is included and the fitting is a standard E27, so replacements are easy to find. The lamp itself is not dimmable, it has a simple rotary knob on the stem. If you want to vary the brightness, use a dimmable bulb with a plug in dimmer.

Send us photos by email within 30 days of delivery and we will replace the item or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. In most cases you will not need to post anything back.
Yes, within 24 hours of placing it. Email our customer service team with your order number and we will sort it. After 24 hours the order has usually gone through to our supplier, but you can still return it under our Refund Policy once it arrives.
