A wide, low lamp with a flared dome shade on a short pedestal base, moulded in glossy orange acrylic. Switched off it reads as a piece of colour in the room. Switched on the whole shade lights up evenly, with no bright spot showing through, so it glows as one object rather than as a bulb behind a cover.
The colour runs right through the material rather than sitting on the surface as paint, which is why it holds its depth when the light is behind it. It is the piece that gives an otherwise neutral room something to look at, and the orange throws a warm wash across the wall behind it in the evening.
Size: about 33 cm across and 22 cm tall, so it is noticeably wider than it is tall. It needs a surface at least 40 cm deep to sit comfortably: a sideboard, a console, a wide side table. It is too wide for most narrow bedside tables, so measure first. It weighs 1.1 kg.
Power: this one plugs in. It comes with a 2 m cord and an in-line switch on the cable, and LED bulbs are included, so there is nothing else to buy.
Care: dust with a soft dry cloth, or wipe with a barely damp one and dry it straight after. Acrylic scratches more easily than glass, so avoid abrasive cloths and any cleaner containing solvent or alcohol. Switch it off and let it cool before cleaning.

We are picky about what makes it onto the site. If a piece does not meet our standard for materials, finish and comfort, it does not get listed. Every product page gives you the real dimensions, the materials and a plain description of what is in the box, so you can picture it in your space before you buy.

A tracking number is emailed to you within 24 hours of dispatch. You can follow it on our Order Tracking page. Tracking often shows no movement for a week or so while the parcel is in international transit. That is normal and it will update once it lands in New Zealand.
You have 30 days from delivery to return an item for change of mind, with no restocking fee, as long as it is unused and still has its packaging and tags. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
Send us photos by email within 30 days of delivery and we will replace the item or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. In most cases you will not need to post anything back.
Yes, within 24 hours of placing it. Email our customer service team with your order number and we will sort it. After 24 hours the order has usually gone through to our supplier, but you can still return it under our Refund Policy once it arrives.
