Four tall slats of pale timber, each cut with a long curved sweep, slotted together in a cross to carry a square linen shade. From the front it reads as a simple pair of uprights. Walk past it and the curves open and close against each other, so the base looks different from every angle in the room.
The shade is a natural cream linen with a visible weave. Light comes through it soft and even, and some of it falls down between the slats onto whatever the lamp is standing on, which throws long quiet shadows across the surface. It is a warm, low key light rather than a bright one.
Size: 23 cm square and 53 cm tall. That is a tall lamp, and the height is the point: on a bedside table or a console it sits at about eye level when you are seated, so it lights the space around you rather than just the table top. Allow for the height before you order, since it will look out of scale on a small nightstand.
Power and bulb: mains powered with a cord and an in-line switch. It takes a standard E27 bulb, which is not included, so pick one up with the order. A warm white bulb around 3000K suits the linen shade best. The lamp itself is not dimmable, so choose a dimmable bulb and a plug in dimmer if you want to vary the level.
Materials: solid timber base with a linen shade.
Care: dust the timber with a dry cloth and keep it out of direct sun, which will fade the wood over time. Brush the linen shade with a soft brush or the upholstery head of a vacuum on its lowest setting. Do not wet the shade.

Send us photos by email within 30 days of delivery and we will replace the item or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. In most cases you will not need to post anything back.
Yes, within 24 hours of placing it. Email our customer service team with your order number and we will sort it. After 24 hours the order has usually gone through to our supplier, but you can still return it under our Refund Policy once it arrives.
